Clarasight Announces Supplier Intelligence to Transform How Corporate Travel Teams Manage Airline and Hotel Relationships

New capability helps buyers continuously optimize supplier performance, uncover savings opportunities and negotiate from a position of strength.

Clarasight, the AI platform for trusted travel data, decisions and automation, today announced Supplier Intelligence, a new capability designed to give enterprise travel managers and procurement leaders a transparent, auditable view of their supplier relationships so they can continuously identify opportunities, optimize performance and negotiate from a position of strength.

For decades, the dynamic has been remarkably consistent: the airline or hotel brings the numbers and frames the performance while the buyer responds.

Clarasight is changing that dynamic.

Supplier Intelligence combines a company's own travel, expense and card data to give buyers a complete view of what they spend, where they carry negotiating leverage, what they actually pay across comparable trips, and where supplier performance can be improved.

Rather than relying on supplier-provided reporting or spending weeks assembling spreadsheets across systems, buyers can proactively identify opportunities and bring their own insights into supplier conversations, including:

  • What is our true spend and volume with each supplier? Consolidated across managed and off-channel travel, from airline to route and from hotel chain to individual property.
  • Where do we actually have leverage? Market share by route, airport and point of sale shows where a program represents meaningful volume to a supplier.
  • Are we paying more for a preferred carrier? Route and cabin-level comparisons show what a program pays competing carriers for equivalent travel and where preference or traveler behavior may be increasing cost.
  • Are our costs actually improving? Cost per mile, trip and traveler helps separate true pricing changes from differences in route length, cabin mix and travel patterns.
  • Where are we overpaying? Fare anomalies surface bookings that deviate materially from expected pricing for a given route.

For large corporate travel programs, supplier negotiations can have tens of millions of dollars in financial impact. Yet the teams responsible for those relationships are often operating with fragmented data across TMCs, expense platforms and card providers, while suppliers arrive with a unified version of their own.

Supplier Intelligence changes supplier management from periodic, supplier-led reviews into continuous, buyer-driven optimization.

"Travel buyers shouldn't have to rely on the company they're negotiating with to tell them what the relationship is worth," said Adam Braun, Co-Founder and CEO of Clarasight. "The buyer should walk into that room already knowing where they have leverage, where they're paying a premium, and exactly which opportunities are worth pursuing. When you give travel leaders that level of intelligence from data their company already owns, the conversation changes."

The capability also gives travel leaders a defensible answer when Finance, Procurement or executive leadership asks about supplier performance. Instead of initiating a multi-week analysis, teams can move directly from the question to the underlying route, booking or transaction.

That same intelligence can inform airline and hotel requests for proposal (RFPs), contract reviews and ongoing supplier performance management, giving buyers a consistent view of volume, market share, cabin mix, unit cost and off-channel spend throughout the commercial cycle.

Supplier Intelligence builds on Clarasight's AI-native data foundation, which unifies fragmented travel, expense, card and enterprise data into a continuously maintained source of truth. Rather than stopping at reporting what happened, Clarasight is building the intelligence and automation layer that helps travel teams understand what matters, decide what to do and execute those actions from the same platform.

Supplier Intelligence is rolling out to Clarasight customers in Fall of 2026.
